Oh sure! But what you said was also my point! That's why I said "Why would you feel the need to take anyone with you unless of course, you were afraid of being seen alone in public without a date?".

@swirlie I think I would be afraid of being seen alone like I have no one. Not even a friend. But of course that is not my problem. But if it was.

The vast majority of people go to a movie theater alone, not with someone else. It never actually occurred to me to go to a movie with another person or even with a group of people.
