If you're about go on a date with somebody and come to find out they show up in an uber and thats how they plan on taking you

I'm always surprised how cars root themselves into the facets of everyday living for other folk.

Here we take the bus to our dates. Less likely to pick someone up at their doorstep and just meetup at the joint itself. Depending on the type of date either find a place after or if her folks want her home then date night's done by about 10. You'd be surprised it's not a curfew only for teens.

We're still quite a bit conservative, for some odd reason.

Idc I don't drive I use Ubers/walk trains trams etc all the time. It's common in Europe and in big cities where driving is often more time consuming and complicated than other means of commuting. Besides I respect ppl using mass means of transportation/biking/scouters for their health and environmental reasons. Which is also common in Europe
