I have been to many funerals and have spoken at a lot of them. I refuse to view the body. I want to remember the person as I knew them. I don't make a big deal of it; I just don't look.
@exexec i want to view the body. Make sure they're not hoaxing me or something

Dealing with all the people and the long drawn out .........
I know several who have done away with the funeral and just gotten buried quietly, simply. One was my Dad. We also did the same with my sister, it was mostly just family.

This, for me, is the ultimate takeaway. James Taylor's "It's Enough To Be On Your Way".

@Adogslife Ty. Everyone has their stories… 🤷🏼‍♂
Playing the part of the corpse.
The line of cars trying to get out when you just want to go get some friend chicken or something.
When I saw my Dad in his casket when I was ten it out me in a mental shock that zombified me for a long time.
