How much do you pay for parking ? You probably have to oay that no matter what car you drive.
SubstantialKick · 31-35, M
A month? That's crazy, bro. You could put the money towards another vehicle.
@SubstantialKick Yeah it's not the vehicle itself the bulk of the money goes towards gas and insurance. When I bought it, a few years ago gas was cheap..it takes premium but premium at that time was around a dollar a liter..not sure what that is in gallons..now it's around $2.10 a liter. so now costs around $110-$115 to fill it up and I have to fill it every 5 days or so depending on how much I drive it.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
@MrBlueGuy Why does it take premium gas? Is it a Maserati or something?
@DunningKruger HA it's a Subaru Forester xD It does have a turbo...it's still under financing and I was told if I use anything other than premium fuel the warranty would be void. I filled up ONCE on regular because I was on an island and that's all they had and yeah the car didn't run right it started misfiring so I guess it does need it.

I stopped driving for medical reasons but those medical reason were part due to the cost of a car and insurance. I coildnt afford to eat. And drive. So.
calicuz · 51-55, M
What are you spending the two thousand dollars on?
Starcrossed · 41-45, F
Yikes, no.

@Starcrossed The car is fine I don't have a problem with it it's not maintenance costs. It's the car payments, insurance, gas and parking.

Sounds WAY too high!
Consumer reports has this list of cars and accumulated costs. Seems budget cars are under $6K for ten years ($500/year), and even BMW, Audi, & Mercedes are under $1K per year. This assumes you've been doing routine maintenance all along.

That's insane. You can put down $2,000 as a decent down payment on a good used car, or even a new car.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
I think you should look at other options.
Justice4All · 36-40, M
You can get a Range for that.
DS1980 · 41-45, M
@Justice4All It'll get stolen 😂
TexChik · F
The payment on a new car is much less
WillaKissing · 56-60
No, it is not, junk it.
Lilymoon · F
Dump it
:/
LordShadowfire · M
Used to be for that price you could get another used car.
bijouxbroussard · F
