Humans made being alive wayyy too complicated and I will never forgive them

I actually feel this way unironically. There is no reason whatsoever why I should have to fill out three separate tax forms for three levels of government. I should fill out one and you should calculate my taxes based off the same information. Why do I have to maintain a car? Why do I have to calculate a tip or do unit conversions? It's all just contrived bullshit some dipshits let fester because they were either too greedy or too scared of change to let us makes our lives simpler and easier.

Even if I wanted to go, my schedule wouldn't allow it. 4:00, wallow in self pity; 4:30, stare into the abyss; 5:00, solve world hunger, tell no one; 5:30, Jazzercise; 6:30, dinner with me — I can't cancel that again; 7:00, wrestle with my self-loathing. ... I'm booked. Of course, if I bump the loathing to 9, I could still be done in time to lay in bed, stare at the ceiling, and slip slowly into madness.

Years ago it was an embarrassment to be in debt.

And the things we do to each other, I was looking at these images this morning from the Middle East. People all sliced up and burned up.

Credit is money you don't have to buy things you don't need. Duh -__-
