If you have ever had a kidney stone, doctors want you to drink 3 liters a day to prevent future stones.. That is 101 oz. I try to by using a 32 oz. Yeti and filling it 3 times a day. Combining that with other drinks like tea It is difficult but it can be done. I have found that adding a little lemon or Chrystal Light makes it easier.

I Drink 8-10 cups of water a day.
At 8oz each cup, that’s easily 80oz.
That’s one cup every hour.

@CookieCrumbs My butt been dehydrated since early 2000. I can only handle 3-4 cups of water a day. 🤦🏾‍♀️😂

@NIC0LE add a slice of lemon.. changes things up and helps detoxify

I try to drink a little shy of 2 liters a day which is about 67-1/2 oz
Gotta be careful not to wash out all your nutrients and good gut bacteria. Thirst is a good indication of need unless you are sweating a lot. I used to drink a gallon a day. Now I only drink when I’m thirsty. I feel so much better.

@Quoththeraven @BeefySenpie pretty much said the same thing. It's for a challenge at work. I really don't know what I should be drinking as I've been living the dehydrated life, most of my adult career. 🤦🏾‍♀️
@NIC0LE gotta remember body fat holds a lot of water. Unless you are sweating like crazy or are super lean just try to drink a little more than you are now

@Quoththeraven Water itself doesn't impact the gut flora to any large degree per-se, but most 'town water' is treated with either chlorine and/or flurosilicic acid. Flurosilisic acid is highly toxic, and chlorine is intended to maintain a control on water-borne pathogens.

Neither substance can be 'filtered' out of water with regular water filters as neither substance is present as a solid suspended in liquid water.

Remember the human body is at least 60 pct water, so it's a vital fluid.

i tend to drink 75oz if not more, you really just need a comfort water bottle to bring with you everywhere and it really works itself into your routine.
I drink 8 glasses a day but my doc told me I don't have to because there is water in the food we eat too. My doc told me to drink 5 or 6 glasses a day.
A bit less. I don't think that exact amount is essential

@BeefySenpie Unfortunately I signed up for this hydrating challenge at work and we have to drink 75oz or more each day. I think I over killed today though. I drank 90oz today. 😕
@NIC0LE Be careful. Sudden extreme changes tend to not end well

@BeefySenpie Welp. Guess we'll know if I update from a hospital bed some time in the future. 🤔

I'm just trying to get back to drinking water in general. I've been on soda and juice for a while now. I know that can't be too good.😅

At work, a 12 hour shift, I will drink 4 liters of water.
A little more spread throughout the day.
Torsten · 36-40, M
I reckon I would be close to that daily for sure
I tried that for a while, and felt awful. Too much water can throw your electrolytes off. You get a lot of water n food already. You don’t need 8-10 glasses on top of that.
@Spoiledbrat I drink maybe three glasses a day, and that includes wine, beer, and coffee. Maybe two glasses of regular water.
@LeopoldBloom I used to get at least 5 and that was when I wasn't that healthy. I get 7 - 8 now. You need more water.
@Spoiledbrat I could probably drink another glass, but when I tried drinking 8 glasses a day, I felt sick as a dog - dizzy and no energy. So I went back to what I'd been drinking before and felt better.
