Can houseplants move their branches on their own???

Because my monstera just moved one of its limbs very visibly and audibly, right before my eyes. It wasn't wind or anything bumping the pot. 😳

Monsteras like to move throughout the day. They're vines, so I think they do it to find things to grab onto. Mine likes to block the TV sometimes

That's a terrific plant 🙂 I bought one two months ago. It is still small, but very expressive - the leaves seem to be differently arranged each morning.
