What is the scariest dream you've ever had?

Oh, I've had all kinds of terrifying dreams. I remember one where I was in the grocery store parking lot and there was a man there who fell over. He clearly was't OK so I asked him what was wrong. The skies were dark and this man was speaking incoherently, almost like he was having a stroke. But as he talked, he kept saying he was a 'zoombie.' People were gathering around in fear, I don't think anyone called 9-1-1 even though it would've been appropriate. The sense of dread washed over me as he spoke until finally, he ran straight at me and that was where it ended.

There was another dream where my finger had been bitten by a black widow and I spent the majority of the time reconciling with the fact that I'd have to cut it off. But by the time I made that decision, the poison had spread to the rest of my hand, and by the time I resolved to chop of my hand, it made it the rest of the way through my body and I was growing weak.

Side effect of vaccine, I dreamt I feel asleep in my dream in my bed as usual. I had a nightmare in my dream of a ghost that everytime I woke up in my dream she was closer to my bed. The last time I feel asleep and woke up in my dream she was lying up against my back under my covers with me. I jumped out of my bed instantly awake in real life. In my nightmare in my dream I was wearing the same clothes I was wearing when I went to bed. My dream was in color. I was hysterical because of that dream, my hubby had to hold me because I woke up, jumped up and was screaming. Never had a dream that was that bad.

I don't know. Everything I get is close to a nightmare so I stopped judging them

One thats been reoccuring for while, thankfully I havent had it in years. Its impossible to describe. All I remember is being inside a very large dark hole, can't see anything and yet somehow I see faces. Large vacant and expressionless faces taunting me, tearing me down. But there are no words coming from them, no sound yet somehow I can understand everything they say. They tear me down so much Im huddled down on the ground lying in torment and the voices only get louder. Theyre so overbearing its literally impossible to focus on anything else. I've never woke from that dream not in tears and sheer panic

The had one dream last night. But day before that it was very scary and almost felt real.

I was asleep. It was dark. I saw my mom walking out of door and then something dark sitting near it. I was saying mom but I couldn't say it. It was choking. Then someone touched my finger and broke the dream. It almost felt real

I had a nightmare when I was a kid. I was walking around a playground at night and then some big black cat lunged at me out of nowhere. I sensed it's presence though and I woke up right away. Other than that though, I don't dream.

I have to go back to like elementary school but I have the mind I do now

without going into detail of them, basically being abducted

I was taking a walk and just minding my own business, and out of nowhere I was caught in the middle of a shootout.

Wow,these are some really scary dreams. I have them all of the time. So, I wanted to see what other peoples nightmares were like. Thank you all for sharing. It makes me feel less scared knowing I am not the only one.

Fighting in a war and seeing my forehead explode in front of my eyes before I wake up with a ringing sound and a tornado going on inside my head.

I sometimes have dreams where people I know stab me or put axes in my head, or some other sharp object

Sawing a ladies head off and then putting her body in a sleeping bag and driving off with her in the trunk of my car
