I would ad a caveat to that. I sometimes say "look it up" because I just got tired of people screaming about how my sources are not on their pre-approved propaganda list.

I don't disagree with you at all, but in my experience this is what happens when you post your source.

It gets ignored.
It gets dismissed as not part of their own personally approved sources.
Some irrelevant fact gets cherry picked and used to dismiss the whole argument.

Therefore I never post sources unless the person is truly interested in knowing them.
