I used to. Never meant for it to happen…just kind of went that way. There was a lot of layers to the relationship over the many years we were something to each other, the greatest layer being our dork sides meshing together so well. So I would have gladly met up with him for nothing more than a platonic meetup to experience that back and forth in person. Even though we lived in separate states, his work brought him to a city about 30 miles from me. He was there for several weeks, but it was during one of the periods in our relationship where he just stopped talking to me for months at a time. I’m pretty sure his wedding ring kept him from ever entertaining a meetup of any kind, even if it was completely harmless. It might’ve made the cheating he refused to acknowledge too real, but who knows what really goes on in the mind of others. It’s way easier and more convenient for many to connect through this means, but the second someone wants to make the person on the other side of the words real…especially if someone is already taken by a different life they lead…their boldness goes out the window.

I have a few. I've never met them as many are in the USA. We connect usually over politics and world affairs. A few right wing folks on here don't like me very much, but that's no loss to me. Of course, it's refreshing to flirt too (in all honesty) and so long as it's clear the other person encourages it. But, being respectful to people is key. Unless that other person is clearly a Fascist 😉. It's interesting to see how other people live, what their view is, even what their garden looks like 😊

I have had a couple really nice relationships here… there isn’t any break pedal, nothing to fear. It’s fun and easy to share secretes, but I’ve never met anyone.

@Softandsweet2 This!
Its hard to find people that i am comfortable enough with to share a lot of information but thats the goal. As for meeting up, i doubt that would ever happen for me.

I have many realtionships with people here and I have never met any of them only one. I would not be opposed to meeting them in real life if the opportunity presented itself.
I’d love to go to Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and let’s not forget Canada and far flung parts of the USA but unfortunately my private jet is in the shop. ✈ 🥹

@pdockal Sadly no .... we kinda drifted apart after he took a new job. That took away his ability to get away to my side of town as much.
