Why not? He could probably appeal to Trump's vanity by giving him a medal or a Twix and he's unlikely to make the situation any worse than it already is.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@SunshineGirl better knight him Sir Twix! 🤣
Trump always wanted notoriety and pomp and that is actually within King Charles power.
Both Eisenhower and Reagan where knighted as presidents. HW Bush after his presidency.

He couldn’t stop his nose from running if he had sinex and a Kleenex

No. He can't:
A) This is a war between Israel and America, and Iran; and launched with no consultation with or approval of, anyone else.
B) Going to war, supporting one side in a war, or staying out of one, is the government's, not the monarch's, decision.

@ArishMell But he is your King 🤴 for heavens sake
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@GovanDUNNY Yes he is - but although he does have personal Service experience as a Royal Navy officer, he is the Head of State, not of Government.

No...this is trumps sesspool of a mess. He started it on his own...he needs to fix it on his own. His past history when he screws up is the company goes bankrupt and he just walks away. This is his first experience where he cant simply walk away or blame everything on someone else.
LadyShagw0rthy · 36-40, F
How? He can only appeal to good nature, he has no political clout.
Elessar · 31-35, M
@LadyShagw0rthy Build 400 windmills around his golf course
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Elessar So old Don Quixotrumpet call his armys against them to rant and rave at his morally enemy the windmills! 🙃
Waveney · 41-45, M
No. He has no power.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
A basic misunderstanding is that he has anything other than 'soft power' which is vague and deliberately unfocused.

I think everyone's just trying to let Donald grind out his gears, because he would love some help
