He got us out of the Afghanistan War, mandated the wearing of masks on federal property, and signed the best infrastructure bill of the century into law. Biden got tens of billions of dollars in military aid approved for Ukraine while also enacting sweeping sanctions on the imperialist Russian oligarchy that started the war in the first place. He's banned the construction of roads in Alaska's Tongass Rainforest, and is tryna ban the logging of old growth forest there altogether.

I've always been one of Biden's biggest critics. The dude's still very conservative on healthcare, and his failure to rejoin the JCPOA is unconscionable given that we were the ones that broke it in the first place. I also think it's really crappy how he hasn't handed out Jones Act waivers to fight inflation, nor pushed electrification & alternative transport as a solution to the gas price crisis. But no reason to pretend he's done literally nothing right.

He was the only president who got us out of Afghanistan, something Trump promised to do (something that Obama promised to do for that matter) but was too much of a fucking pussy to do it because he was told it wouldn't be pretty and he cares about his image more than anything; Biden had nothing to lose because he's an old codger who's been in politics forever and won against the biggest dumbass who's ever been in the White House and doesn't care about his image (does anyone give a crap about Biden's image? Lol). Bush couldn't do it, Obama couldn't do it, Trump couldn't do it, Biden sent a temporary middle finger to the military-industrial complex and that was based. Of course now he's given billions to Ukraine so, eh...can't really say he's not helping defense contractors but helping Ukraine is at least more defensible than a country that could never be conquered.

Biden sucks. But getting out of Afghanistan had to happen, it was NEVER going to go smoothly, and we will be better off out of there.
