Unfortunately, Beau the home-boy poseur, never got around to explaining the real reasons the Democrats are so anxious to settle out of court.

They, of course, wouldn't give a damn for how much extra it would cost if it went to trial, if only it would make Trump look worse. But it wouldn't; they are already taking enough heat for wanting to pay off illegals, and then they end up paying MORE?

Furthermore, if it went to trial, it might come out that these "refugees" the Democrats have such sympathy for, aren't refugees at all... another major risk for the Democrats. Much better for them not to have their "refugee" narrative tested.

Finally, there is the risk that the government might win the case. If that were to happen, the Democrats' rich ACLU lawyer donors would be LIVID about not collecting their 40% fees.

So of course the Democrats would be only too happy to settle for $450,000 a pop, and sweep it under the rug ASAP, hoping the voters forget about it before next November.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout Didn’t hear about Newsome but Psaki got Covid despite being fully vaccinated, so if that included a booster she still got infected. And if not, how does a booster play into it if she was vaccinated then got sick?
