Then he denies in a follow up that he said that.
He’ either lying or does not have the mental ability to remember what he says.

He's made a very lucrative career out of lying. Even without the dementia, I doubt he knows what truth is any more.

Did she really forget it/ possibly have lost it, or was it a set up some kind? If what so far is on social networks regarding his daughter’s diaries and alleged entries, if true could possibly be very detrimental to Joe.

He never cared a whit for the truth, and now that he can't remember what the truth is, so much the better, as far as he's concerned.

It does make for some awkward moments for his handlers and spokespeople, however.

@cherokeepatti I wouldn't put anything past him. But it's horrible how he ruined the truck driver's life by lying and claiming he was drunk.
