Donald Trump is the biggest failure in recent US history

He single-handedly tanked the economy with high prices resulting from tariffs and the Iran War.

Because of Donald Trump’s monumental failure as a wannabe dictator, MAGA is fracturing and progressives are rising.

Donald Trump may be up there as the biggest loser in history, but for now, it’s safe to say that he is the biggest failure in recent American presidential history.

Hunter Biden has brilliantly trolled Donald Trump by saying he will nominate him for the Nobel Peace Prize for the Iran war.
It’s no secret that Trump wants to win the Nobel Peace Prize. He missed out on the prize last year, despite constantly repeating his dubious claims that he has single handedly stopped seven wars.
Of course, this still didn’t stop the actual winner, Venezuelan politician Maria Machado, giving her award to Trump anyway.
No doubt Trump will be eying up the Nobel Prize again this year. The small problem he might encounter is that one of the main things he’s done in 2026 is START a war, and, unlike FIFA, the Nobel committee don’t tend to be too fond of people who do this when it comes to deciding who should win the peace prize.
But now, Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, has worked out a way that the Iran war could actually work in Trump’s favour!
In a hilarious post mocking the president, Biden wrote: “I am officially nominating Donald J. Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
“No President in History has ended the same war so many times. Our Dear Leader has ended the war with Iran at least 38 times by CNN’s count.
“No President has ever done this before. And he is nowhere near finished ending it.
“It’s a record worthy of the Nobel committee’s recognition. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

@Khenpal1 Maria Machado giving her real Nobel Peace Prize to Donald Trump was as empty, foolish and meaningless as FIFA's Pretend Peace Prize.

FIFA's gesture was clearly only shameless favour-currying, but I don't know quite what the Venezuelan had hoped to achieve. She had no right to give the real award to anyone else. The Nobel Prizes committee awarded it to her, no-one else, so presumably her giving it away cancelled it.

Half the population still thinks trump is awesome. Because their preachers tell them so.

Donald Trump is the biggest success for one person - himself. Becoming president a second time was his mandate to enormously increase his own personal wealth and by inference that of most of his close family (except perhaps Mary Trump, whom Donald seems to despise). That's the one (and only) reason he's ever pushed to become Supreme Dick Tator of the USA government executive branch. Biz ness pure and simple for him.

Thats not fair. Trump is not responsible for tanking the US economy. That is a long time coming. He is certainly responsible for accellerating the process, making it worse. And he is definitely responsible for turning most of the worl against America and making us less inclined to take steps to help. So in that sense he has made the coming economic storm much worse and long lasting for all Americans still in the country.. (Because those rich enough will find someplace else to go.)😷
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
That depends on how you measure him. If you measure him by the standards of a successful president that helps the country, he's a compete disaster.

If you measure him by the standards of an individual trying to enrich himself, he's done pretty well.

Anyone who thinks the first take was ever his priority really need to return to reality. Though a lot of them didn't even vote for him to do that. They largely voted for him to hurt people they don't like.

What do you mean "recent?"
Afterlife · 70-79, MNew
@DunningKruger Yes. I would have said the worst ever president.

Kind of , you cant bully the whole world

@Khenpal1 MY GOD!!! Someone gets it!!!!In summary, the FED is "shorting" the $US.. I assume hoping the dam wont break until after the election..😷
Khenpal1 · M
@whowasthatmaskedman Its a process taking over 10 years , unseen as most debt taken are within 10 years time . As long there is non surplus dollar's buying power will weaken. Take measures to not be depended on dollar as before. Could be dollar will be 15 % less worth within 10 years time. Since USA is importing nation and with trade deficit , all imported products will cost more. Its not likely bring it home will happen. It became too risky with any I own you papers. Trump cant fight China on his own.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Khenpal1 If you forget the people and just follow the money trails a pattern emerges quite quickly, then you see who is riding the waves. There are always options of course. But with the money supply from overseas a crunch is coming that will colllapse the US economy is a 12 month cycle. The FED have been juggling like crazy trying to keep everything in the air. But Trump has removed the safety net and guard rails. I have no idea how much longer it will hold..And when it goes, the value of the $US could halve in a year..😷

Then I guess you slept through the Obama and Biden administrations ?
Waveney · M
@Jake966
so you think a failed healthcare plan under Obama was good ?
Failed healthcare plan? Republican-run states are embracing it fully, but they don't admit it. Why else have they refused to come up with an alternative? I'll tell you - they know that repealing it would be extremely unpopular with their own supporters.

And what happened to Trump's new healthcare plan that would be set up within a week of his coming into office in 2016...?

Along with the crash of the housing market ?
Erm...that happened under GW Bush...

America never had open borders, that's just a MAGA slogan. And once you start with the finger pointing and accusations then I know that you have no sensible reponse :)

Thank you 😎🕺🏽

Jake966 · 56-60, M
@Waveney Obama’s health plan was a complete failure, not to mention that if you didn’t have any healthcare, you had to pay some kind of surcharge or fine or something like that, but I guess you don’t remember that ? People who had great healthcare and like the plan they were on were forced to go onto Obama care which they paid higher premiums for not to mention the disaster the day that the registration for the health plan was going to start and it crashed .
I didn’t know George Bush was president during the housing market crash in 2008. I thought he left Office before that to my recollection. Obama was president in 2008 when the housing market collapsed. .
No open borders during the Biden administration then tell me where the hell we came up with these millions of illegals that flooded the nation during the Biden administration. This isn’t any fantasy you need to get out of the fantasy world.

Obama's health plan was a complete failure
LOL the ACA clearly isn't a "complete failure" if it's still in place over a decade later and Republicans never managed to replace it despite years of promising they would.

Yes, the Healthcare.gov launch was a mess, although it was later fixed, and yes, the individual mandate existed. Those are legitimate criticisms but calling the entire law a failure isn't, because it isn't.

I didn’t know George Bush was president during the housing market crash in 2008. I thought he left Office before that to my recollection. Obama was president in 2008 when the housing market collapsed. .
Well, you're MAGA so I know that facts are antipathy to you so let me correct you :)

George W. Bush was president until January 20, 2009. Obama was NOT president in 2008. He won the election in November 2008 but he was NOT president.

The housing market began collapsing in 2006–07, and the financial crisis peaked in September 2008 with the collapse of Lehmann while Bush was still in office. Obama wasn't even president yet.

Those are the facts. Sorry.

And as I've said the US did NOT have open borders. There may have been high levels of illegal immigration but that ain't the same thing.
