He's finally right about anything then. $1/gallon is still extremely cheap compared to most European countries. Of course our cars aren't nearly that inefficient though, so maybe it's comparable per mile. 🤷
Trump figures that if he tells a lie enough times people will believe it. But people buy gas every day so they know gases prices are way high and Trump is lying to them. Cheers!
@hunkalove Yes, it's diagnostic of his condition that whenever reality is disagreeable he simply invents a desired reality and sees that as a valid solution.
He doesn't think of it as lying or fantasising - he sees it as correcting reality which, because it doesn't accord with what he wants, must be in error.
So certain is he of this that the dull and the gullible and the fearful willingly overlook the resulting chaos because they genuinely believe he has a plan and the intellect to fulfill it.
