Quite right... I lived in the US for extended periods three times, and have often visited.
Now, I will transit through a civilised, democratic, country like Canada simply to avoid the US autocracy.
Last year I sold every stock-market investment I held in US. Those assets are now in Canada and Europe and Asia.
If you want the rest of the world to leave you alone, that's easily achieved... stay behind your own borders, stop attending international events (trump was pathetic at Davos), stop signing trade deals, stop invading other countries, and stop betraying the countries of the Free World (you're no longer a member)
