How many baloney sandwich’s would Trump’s new oval office sign buy?
Trump just had a sign placed outside of the oval office that says The Oval Office. It is a temporary sign until the plaque arrives. I figure the temporary sign already cost tax payers $200 – which is about the cost of 100 baloney sandwiches – or 80 baloney sandwiches if the sandwiches are made with Canadian baloney (added tariff costs). I bet the plaque will cost tax payers $3.000 so that could of bought a lot of baloney sandwiches to help feed the hungry in America. Cheers!
Seems he must need the sign for his own direction. Seems the need for a paper sign, placed temporarily, where there was never a need for one till now, is evidence of that. I mean...why not wait for an appropriate plaque if the dear leader needs another gold flourish?
@Carla Trump might need a sign to show him were he works. But I bet he doesn't need a sign to show him were he fills his glut face. His gut is like a divining rod and it draws him to the dinning room. Cheers!
@faery Yeah and one for the Lincoln bathroom. Trump just renovated it with marble and probably a bit of gold (just kidding it was lots and lots of gold). The things Trump spends tax dollars on while people are going hungry blows my mind. Cheers!
@faery I’m Trailer Trash and I have better taste than Trump. Bet all the marble Trump used is imported from Italy – instead of using a US product. Cheers!
@SunshineGirl Yeah but maybe the local school kids would be to weak from hunger to make a sign because Trump took away their school lunch programs. Cheers and happy weekend!
@sunsporter1649 OK, instead, let's talk about how the tRump admin got HAMMERED by SCOTUS during oral arguments regarding the constitutionality of tRump's tariffs. Every indication is that SCOTUS will agree with lower courts: tariffs are taxes and the power to levy taxes is reserved for Congress only.
And if SCOTUS rules against tRump, it means the federal government has to pay back the over $220 billion in tariffs collected so far.
Tariff: no longer 'the most beautiful word in the dictionary'?
