@Pretzel But he made his mistakes at a time when the people were willing to hold the president accountable. And when Ford pardoned him, that basically insured that he would not be re-elected.

My father goes into a hissy-fit every time Trump's name is mentioned in my parent's house. Therefore, to bring Donald home to meet my parents is a 'wild card' I occasionally threaten my father with when he's getting a little bit too high and mighty and thinks he's boss in my mom's kitchen.

I will occasionally remind my father that my intention is to make Donald Trump the father of my first child, which means that Donald will be my Dad's son-in-law if he doesn't stop relocating the dishes to another cupboard every time he turns around.
