We've always owned American made cars, the product is just fine. More so today than in past years maybe. I've had Fords, Chevys, and a Dodge van we ran the wheels off. I don't think this is a big issue.

@GerOttman Agreed I've always bought American made vehicles and have been quite happy. The OP is fear mongering because Musk is uncovering vast amounts of fraud and waste. Leftists love government fraud and waste. Musk is proving that its what supports their agenda. And THAT is why they are going bonkers.

@OrionInTheNight Other than regular oil changes and putting gas in the tank, I have had few problems with my vehicles. Maybe you just need to take better care of your car?
@GerOttman really? Harley Davidson is the example you are going to use for American quality? Those old man noise machines that have 1000 hp and can't beat the slowest japanese bikes?
Harley Davidson is not a bike company its a fashion company for 50+ cosplayers.

@GerOttman I take good care of my cars, both of my BMWs have over 100k on them and still get unsolicited compliments when I am going around town

@GerOttman I rode a motorcycle for 8 years. There's nothing impressive about being someone who "rides".
