@onewithshoes I understand why you think that but even the husband/wife bond being used to prevent legal testimony is based on antiquated and outdated precepts. Spousal Testimonial Privilege in Common Law was based on the fictitious precept that husband and wife were one person because the wife "belonged" to her husband so therefor wasn't competent to testify against him.
