When younger generations ask if you had fat shaming at your school. 😂

We had fat shaming, skinny shaming, speccy four eyes shaming, ginger shaming, you mum would get it shaming, your dads an alchy shaming, four stripe adidas trainers shaming, rail road teeth shaming.

And if you had a problem with that you got - can’t take a shaming shaming.

I don't think it was usually as well thought out as "shaming". Just thoughtless kids looking for any excuse to label other kids as different, and not being sufficiently challenged by the adults in charge 😞
Cantsayno · 56-60, M
We were pretty brutal back then !
@Cantsayno But at least we took out our revenge during dodge ball during gym class.
Cantsayno · 56-60, M
@NativePortlander1970 or after school with a fist fight
@Cantsayno Yea, I was pretty vicious by the flagpole too.
Magenta · F
Haha. And we didn't see ourselves as victims.
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@Magenta Exactly. You just laugh it off, give them some grief back and go about your day.

We had all sorts of shaming in school. I hated my peers with a passion.
Maturebate · 70-79, M
And yet we survived without whining about it.
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
@Maturebate pretty sure there was tons of suicides going on
Maturebate · 70-79, M
@TurtlePink not when I grew up! https://www.aihw.gov.au/suicide-self-harm-monitoring/data/deaths-by-suicide-in-australia/suicide-deaths-over-time
CompTrain82 · 41-45, M
I had loads of freckle shaming. The dots on my face were seen as a disease or a source of humiliation.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
There was a kid in my school who had been gang raped and had a squid jig shoved up his rectum, and the kids called him 'One hundred Ringholes'

If you don't know what a squid jig is: Please Google it
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@Thevy29 ffs
Magenta · F
@Thevy29 Utterly disgusting to even post it.
@Thevy29 I remember this story, that was so horrible. The animals who did that to him should’ve been the outcasts, not the poor kid. 😞
PinkMoon · 26-30, F
"Can't take shaming shaming" is so real😂😂😂😂😂😂.
smiler2012 · 56-60
@WintaTheAngle 🤔there is an old adage there are nothing more cruel than kids and there is nothing more true as i suffered at the hands of bullies at school
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@smiler2012 What you assume I never had to deal with a bully, just because I’m not still pathetic about it?
smiler2012 · 56-60
@WintaTheAngle 🤔ok i am not going too fall out with you over this i am making a point . i will tell you something about bullies there was a lad who ten and we came from the same street and he was bullied too that extreme he finished himself off the perpitrators will have that on there conscience for the rest of there days. when i go too the cemetery i walk past his grave and i think too myself poor lad
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
Did you they really stick your head down the toilet and flush
And shove kids in their lockers 🤣🤣
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@TurtlePink My school life was 1984-1996. It was the best time.
TurtlePink · 22-25, F
@WintaTheAngle mine was 2005-2018
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@TurtlePink Ahhh well you just have to make the best of what you’re dealt.
tamilguy · M
Even me at my 20s now has faced all those shaming in my school days especially about mom...lol... countless fights because of those stuffs...
Kids can be incredibly cruel to eachother.
True. And as I recall the attitude from the adults was, "it’s just something kids do !" 🙁
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@bijouxbroussard it sounds like someone got a can’t-take-a-shaming shaming.
Gotta love them how those fakedidas shoes disintegrated in the rain during gym class though.
