the test is if you can say that in the street or online and not be thrown in jail for saying nothing more than that. Saying the UK is totalitarian is a massive disrepect to people thrown in jail for liking a facebook post or saying what you just said (and nothing more) my 2c

@sunsporter1649 The question, sunstroke, is what freedoms have been taken away by His Majesty's government. You are saying "oooh, a crime happened." The existence of crime in a nation doesn't prove that any freedoms have been taken away by a government.
On the other hand, if you believe the existence of murder in a country is proof of disappearing freedoms, then let's take a look at comparative murder rates.

@sunsporter1649 I presume you are referring to the murder of three girls last summer by a UK citizen who is and never was a Muslim. The same traguc event that was exploited by online conspiracy theorists to incite violence against immigrants, Muslims, and non-white folk in general.
So yes, in that respect the "slaughter" imputed by Lucy Connolly in her social media posts never happened. And she discovered that in English Common Law it is no more acceptable to call for the destruction of property and indiscriminate murder of human beings online than it is standing up in a crowded city centre and doing it "in person".
