@JonUK41 Yes, it's called Air Force One. Why does Qatar feel the need to present him with a brand-new , fully updated luxurious plane, which will benefit him immensely while in office, right now? Could it be to do with the $5.5 billion golf course that he just announced will be built in Qatar?

Also, why are you fixated on the benefit after he leaves office? No one mentioned that, except you.
iamthe99 · 36-40New
@JonUK41 Actually, I stand corrected. Items in his Presidential Library can continue to be used by him.

So he WILL get personal benefit from this plane after he leaves office.

Game, Set and Match.

@iamthe99 So how much do you think it costs to use/fly that plane - crew/fuel/landing fees/maintenance etc?

Trump already has a - obviously more modest jet - do you honestly think he could afford to use this plane on a personal level even if he was allowed to?

Start with the obvious - to spread wealth you need to have wealth. The unions have no wealth so they can't spread wealth.

The consider an obvious example of the tech billionaires. Gates/Zuck/Bezos/Google guys etc. They've all become billionaires. How many millionaires do you think they've created?
iamthe99 · 36-40New
@JonUK41 The unions are there to force the billionaires to spread their wealth.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@JonUK41 the big unions are stacked full of cash and for the most part they do not represent the workers. Its yet another con game to make it feel like you have agency, when in fact you are giving your agency away to unions and paying a monthly fee to do so

Collective bargaining does not spread wealth, it increases production cost, meaning that income increase is nullified.
iamthe99 · 36-40New
@JonUK41 so the only way to make money is to work directly for a billionaire, and not for one of their companies. Right…
@JonUK41 DJT has stiffed MANY people he hired to do special work for him.

So no.
iamthe99 · 36-40New
@Patriot96 So you seem to be implying that someone working a 60 hour week does not deserve to get paid a colossal $15 an hour for their effort. Odd.

@jshm2 What we actually need are less billionaires, although unions can help for now. Consider this:

Having no billionaires is the best way to redistribute wealth.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
Give me a billion dollars and just see what I could spend it on ☺
Patriot96 · 56-60, C
Unions exist to perpetuate themselves, not for members
JonUK41 · 36-40, M
@Patriot96 Right.

But unions and billionaires have 1 thing in common - they don't care about your interests.

That said you have a far better chance of making money working for a billionaire - or potential future billionaire - than you do by joining a union.
iamthe99 · 36-40New
@JonUK41 and if you work for a billionaire like Bezos, who pays peanuts?
