Practical economics - part 2

Our lawn needs cutting. I don't own a lawn mower, but my neighbour does. So I banged on his door this morning and demanded he hand it over to me. He looked surprised and offered to "lend" it to me for an hour. This is not acceptable 😡 I "know" he has been ripping me off for months. That lawnmower is essential to my economic and social future. I earn more than he does, so I should have it. One way or another I am going to have that lawnmower and make my garden great again.

To facilitate future negotiations I have kidnapped his cat 😾

I think you may need half of his front yard to secure your property as well.

Seems like the modern way of doing things... You should have made him mow your lawn, that's only fair

@Convivial I'm in for the long game . . by the end of next week he will be begging to dig my potato patch too 🥔

@SunshineGirl just make sure he didn't mis-lay any spuds in the process
I see what you did there 🙂

Excellent illustration for the hard of understanding.

Clearly you have not thought this through. Now go back and steal his catfood and sandbox and demand he show up every day to feed the cat and change its litter.. and charge him a toll for use of the door..

@whowasthatmaskedman Good ideas . .

It's your neighbour's fault that your grass grows so quickly.

He should cut it for you

@Carla The cat scratched me and jumped out of the window.

I'm still getting that lawn mower though.
