As the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln pulled into port in Thailand on Wednesday, observers were shocked by its appearance. The almost 1,100-foot-long warship was covered in rust from bow to stern.“Rust is like a contagious disease.It weakens any steel structure it attacks. @anythingoes477 US aircraft carriers are showboats. They are militarized versions of passenger cruise ships. Our sailors includes women (sailoresses) because they are not working on warships. 286 days at sea and they complain even though the Abraham Lincoln was never close to the contested area and took no hits from enemy fire. They complained and suffered because living conditions were not five-star.
It's high time we scrap the US military and send people back to do real work.
