DHS finds over 256,000 noncitizens on voter rolls in four blue states

The battle over election integrity exploded back into the national spotlight Friday after the Department of Homeland Security announced that a preliminary review found more than 256,000 potential noncitizens registered to vote across four Democrat-controlled states.

According to letters sent by DHS to election officials in California, New Jersey, Nevada, and Pennsylvania, the department compared publicly available voter registration data with federal immigration records and identified what it described as a significant number of registrants whose information matched noncitizen records in federal databases.

The numbers immediately grabbed attention.

DHS estimates there could be as many as 190,832 potential noncitizen registrants in California, 35,152 in New Jersey, 15,903 in Nevada, and 14,576 in Pennsylvania. The department said thousands of records in each state included matching names, birth dates, addresses, and Social Security information linked to noncitizens in federal systems.

Homeland Security officials described the findings as preliminary and said they notified state election authorities so they could conduct further reviews and remove any ineligible voters if necessary. The department also offered assistance through the federal SAVE verification system, which is designed to help verify citizenship status.

libs can't win fair elections. Kamala won only the states that did not have voter ID in the last election

And of course these federal immigration records are updated when someone becomes a citizen?

Come back to us when "potential" becomes "actual" 😴

@wildbill83 Widespread electoral fraud has not been demonstrated. Do you think it is healthy for government to make compulsory ID a precondition of carrying out a basic duty of citizenship? Where next? Should people be compelled to produce ID before they are allowed to buy fuel or basic groceries?
@SunshineGirl Your commenter blocks me, but I'll just say here that I'm all in favor of voter ID just as soon as the government makes it FREE and EASY to obtain!!

Republicans are trying to use voter ID for voter suppression. The FIX for that is FREE and EASY voter ID.

@ElwoodBlues Guess who got turned away from a polling station after his own government had introduced compulsory voter ID (which in the UK can be obtained free of charge, but which is no less inconvenient)? 😅

The system is broken in Uk nz and oz not allow to vote till citzans

What do you want to bet that the illegals are NOT removed from the voter rolls in California?
Wait, are there 256,000 non-citizens or 256,00 potential non-citizens? Your first paragraph already contradicts your title. Is this like DOGE promising to find $200B in waste, fraud and abuse, then lowering that to $100M when they actually looked at the records and eventually costing tax payer money to rebuild all the cut programs that turned out to be useful after all?
@sunsporter1649 two more things I've never said, and still no link to back up your first claim. You may be great at pulling claims out of your behind, but you're pretty weak at providing facts to support them.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@NerdyPotato So you are firmly convinced there is no Trump-Russia collusion, eh
@sunsporter1649 sort of. There was Russian interference, but it has not been proven Trump was involved in that. Maybe he was, but without proof, I'm happy to assume he wasn't.
kodiac · 26-30, M
It seems nobody cares,Trump exposed the worst election fraud in history ,but of course Trump exposed it so lets just ignore it

@MasterLee I can blame you for acting like a 3-year-old though. Surely you can do better if you wanted to. But if you have nothing intelligent to say, I'll move on. Enjoy your day.

@NerdyPotato good boy

So the bosses of the d h s ( involved here need to be accountable
Livingwell · 61-69, M
I'm Republican and this is such a joke. Double the number. Then divide 200M by it. What percentage do you get? 🤣

.002 or .2 of 1%. Yup! Really made an impact!
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Livingwell Yup, 82,000,000 voted for sleepy joe, right?

Oz and nz no non residents not allowed to vote till citzans
In u s a? How come .look like a loophole or system not working right
So, to summarize, Trumpists, who pretty much by definition, keep their jobs by putting loyalty to him over loyalty to the public or even the office, sent these letters, and that's the best they could come up with?

Preliminary findings about potential non-citizens being registered?

I guess they put up numbers, and they might not even need pardons for wording it that way.

But watch, he's not going to be satisfied with that for long.
A touch of sarcasm…
