why I can't send Trump!
Okay, folks, I’ve been making posts like this for a while now, and I think it’s time to address the elephant in the room. I’ve made my stance pretty clear before, but a lot of people hear “progressive Republican” and only focus on the Republican part. They automatically assume I’m some kind of Trump conservative. I’m not.
So let me explain why I’m not a fan of Trump.
I never supported Trump, and I never will. In my opinion, he isn’t really a Republican. He’s more of a corporate figure who uses conservative values for political gain. And when I say “conservative values,” I’m not talking about everyday conservatives or small-town, mom-and-pop conservatism. I’m talking about the more extreme side of modern conservatism that pushes division, intolerance, and fear. That’s the part I strongly disagree with. And to be clear, this is not an attack on all conservatives — only the radical side that I can’t stand behind.
Another thing: if you’ve never heard of Sacha Riley, I recommend looking into his story — but with a serious trigger warning, because the subject matter is very heavy. He has spoken about being a victim connected to Trump and Epstein dating back to the 1980s, and even earlier. I truly wish him and every other victim peace, healing, and justice.
And then there’s the chaos surrounding Trump now. In my opinion, a lot of what he does politically is about distraction and protecting himself, especially when it comes to the Epstein files and everything connected to them.
So yes, I don’t support Trump. I’m not a Trump conservative. Honestly, I wouldn’t even call myself a conservative in the modern sense. I’m a progressive Republican.
Hopefully that clears the air.
