I don't believe trump will have time to rig the whole country but I'm pretty sure he will pick and choose his targets for maximum impact. I believe he will try to cause last minute chaos in critical districts. So, please make every effort to get registered if you're not already, and vote.
If you don't have a government issued photo ID get one.
There's always a point in voting. The purpose of all this theater and bs around voting rights is to make people exhausted, hopeless, and ready to give up. Absolutely do vote.
@swirlie I absolutely did. There's no excuse. Anybody who doesn't at least participate to that bare minimum level doesn't get to complain about the results.
I think voting for POTUS should be a mandatory requirement for all Americans to maintain their US citizenship. It's one thing to obtain a US citizenship and then move to the USA... or to even be born there, but it's quite another thing to sit on the sidelines and do nothing to maintain the democratic process by getting politically educated and then going out and VOTING.
@swirlie I 100% agree. Australia did that, and I very much doubt the average Australian is more mature than the average American, and they take it seriously. I think after a couple of elections of joke votes, we could manage that.
Imagine if everyone had voted in 2024 ? It’s possible that this monster might still have gotten in. But it’s also possible that he might’ve been defeated and we wouldn’t be dealing with the mess we are now.
The bottom line is, we’ll never know. There’s no excuse for choosing not to participate, if you give even the slightest bit of a damn about your country.
And if it didn’t matter, these fascists wouldn’t be trying to interfere with your right to keep voting !!
Criminals do criminal activities soooo ya ofc but voting is ALWAYS important like in boca raton FL the MAGA hive mind we flipped the city blue by 3 votes :) take that MAGA! Youre losing more ground everyday hahah ;)
Ask the voting officials in Georgia facing charges for voter fraud in 2020. If the charges are true, Trump won the state by over 300,000 votes in 2020.
@sree251 Every American should vote using an educated, informed assessment of all candidates involved. Regardless of your traditional political stripe, you should vote for who you think would best serve your country. This post is not about convincing you or anyone else to vote left versus right, it's about telling Americans to get off their asssesss and VOTE.... and not thinking that it's okay to sit on the sidelines and not participate in the democratic process.
To voluntarily NOT vote is the equivalent of having your voting Rights forcibly taken away from you at the whim of a Fascist Dictator whenever he chooses.

Ok. I would like to vote for Rand Paul and Thomas Massey but I am in Illinois which is locked up by the Democrats. Nick Fuentes said to vote Democrats just to get rid of the GOP and Trump. What do you say?

I would vote for the Devil just to get rid of Trump but he is on the side of the Devil.

@sunsporter1649 tRump's proposal is merely a badly disguised voter suppression effort. We get it; republicans can't survive without voter suppression, but that doesn't make it any less criminal!!
I have NO PROBLEM with the theory of voter ID, as long as it's free and easy. I DO have a problem with the practice of making it differentially harder for the elderly & working poor. https://www.brennancenter.org/our-work/research-reports/challenge-obtaining-voter-identification
"Voter ID laws have been estimated by the U.S. Government Accountability Office to reduce voter turnout by 2-3 percentage points, translating to tens of thousands of votes lost in a single state." https://www.aclu.org/news/civil-liberties/block-the-vote-voter-suppression-in-2020/
Alabama is a case in point. A state shouldn't be allowed to do what Alabama did, passing voter ID laws and then closing ID issuing offices in predominantly poor or black counties.
Historical Baseline: A landmark 2014 study cited by the Brennan Center for Justice found only 31 credible instances of voter impersonation out of more than 1 billion ballots cast between 2000 and 2014.
Mail-In Voting Rates: Recent data from the Brookings Institution indicates that between 2016 and 2022, fraudulent mail-in ballots accounted for approximately 0.000043% of total mail votes cast, or roughly 4 cases for every 10 million ballots.
The Heritage Foundation's Election Fraud Database, which tracks a wider range of irregularities, has identified 1,620 total proven instances of voter fraud since 1982. Given that over 1 billion votes were cast in federal elections alone during a shorter period (1988–2020), this equates to a very low rate of occurrence relative to the total volume.
UPDATE
It's hard to parse your newest whine, sunstroke, but I'm guessing you're talking about gerrymandering and the brand new Democratic enthusiasm for the process. That is driven by two SCOTUS decisions.First, Rucho vs Common Cause (Jun 2019) said gerrymandering is OK by SCOTUS. Second is Abbott vs League (Dec 2025), which said Texas is free to redistrict and further gerrymander anytime they choose.
So yeah, SCOTUS, perhaps shortsightedly, blessed and even engendered the current wave of gerrymandering in blue states. Red states were hoist by their own petard! Deal with it🤣🤣
@ElwoodBlues Our hearts bleed for you, your voting districts are so equally split, all elektions should be run your way, everyone needs rank-choice voting and districting according to one-party affillitation, right?
