@DavidT8899 to a degree, I agree. They have a right to protest or video their actions, but common sense says physically interfering is putting your life at risk.

@trollslayer True enough ,but I feel compelled to say something to you ,and I mean this sincerely: I appreciate the fact that your responses on this subject have been fair and even handed .You are treating the incident with the respect it deserves ,and I respect you for it .To many in the far left are undoubtedly pouncing on what happened to use it as a sounding board against ICE and the Trump administration in general.While I realize that we are on different sides of the political spectrum,you haven't done that .

@SumKindaMunster Here's the bottom line on the situation as I see it : that woman's death was a tragedy,but in the end it was her own fault .She shouldn't have been interfering in ICE operations .And as far as any legal inquiry goes ,it doesn't matter if she actually intended to run the agent over ; what does matter is if the agent had a REASONABLE BELIEF that she was going to do so.And the answer to that question is obvious .

@SumKindaMunster And here's another thing to consider : the far left is up in arms about this situation,which is fine tona point because a person was killed and the matter needs to be investigated.But no matter what the level of legal exposure turns out to be ,it's clear that the woman was NOT a totally innocent victim that was being targeted by ICE " bullies".Have you noticed that those same or like have no regard or even concern about the various people who were murdered by illegal aliens ?People who were guilty of ABSOLUTELY NOTHING !

@SumKindaMunster thanks. I’d like to see evidence that they had been harassing ICE all day. That one video only shows a couple minutes and it the woman (the wife) outside the car is certainly annoying, but comparatively (compared to other protesters) not that bad during those moments. And she had her dog in the car. I doubt they would have their dog with them if they were harassing ice all day. Other videos show the ice agent who shot arriving a minute or two before. Maybe they had interactions earlier in the day that werent on video. I also want to know how she got her car in that position. Some say this happened in front of her house, and her car was that way because she was leaving her driveway. This makes sense, but other reports say she lived a few blocks away. Most expert analysis I have read focus on the cell phone, and that the officer needs to have both hands free in order to best deal with the situation. And he definitely did not have his gun drawn until she started moving forward.

@Vin53 i don’t think she was completely calm, but the woman outside the car was clearly bot calm and reasonable.

@Vin53 They continuously interfered and harassed ICE during a lawful operation. If you did that to the FBI, the Secret Service, the ATF etc, you would be subject to arrest or possibly worse.

You may not like ICE's mission. But they are a legitimate federal law enforcement agency and if you interfere you run the risk of consequences. That could include being accidentally killed during the event.

@Vin53 He was struck by the vehicle. In the moment he had no time to think, it was all instinct.

He was trained to use deadly force on a fleeing suspect who may commit a felony.

It's up to the authorities to do the investigation and determine what should happen now.

@SumKindaMunster i really think coordination with local police could help keep protesters safe while still allowing them to protest. Ice is not trained in crowd control.
