You know what? I've been keeping quiet about Gavin Newsom, because everybody thinks he's some kind of savior.

But I think I'm done keeping quiet.

Because Gavin Newsom isn't going to help the trans community. He's going to throw them under the bus. He already said so, but y'all choose to ignore that because of his funny Trump memes.

I for one am sick of choosing the lesser of two evils in this country. People have been doing that for years, and now all our options are evil.

"Big deal," I can hear you saying. "It's just trans people. They're a small part of the population to begin with." But who will be next?

I'll vote for any Democrat in order to stop Fascism. But if Newsom becomes president, he's not going to create the largescale change needed to actually defeat Fascism. At best, he'll get reelected, but then the public will realize their lives still suck, so they'll go back to the Republicans. It'll be just like what happened after both Obama and then Biden. Centrist Democrats are a band aid on the bullet hole. And the fact that he's so quick to abandon trans people means he'd be worse than Biden.

I've given you more than one hint, that they subject the Governor is discussing (and I support), is that he's nervous about teenage transgender male-to-female, participating in sports against teenage females.

So, why don't you, the guy who's 46-50 male, start by comprehending the issue.

I've had plenty of conversations about it, as part of my daughter's soccer team. Do you have a son or daughter and you needed to deal with the situation? You should learn, it sounds as if you can use the education.

I didn't know all that to be fair, I'm very unfamiliar with his issue. When I was laughing at his memes it's more because I need to laugh in this economy and wish more people would make Trump the joke of the world.

Gavin Newsom only claims it's not fair and reasonable for men who have transitioned to women to be allowed to compete in women's sports. That's hardly throwing them under the bus. It is a reasonable concern. Maybe it's right, maybe it's wrong (personally, I think it is right), but it's hardly throwing them under the bus.

While the trans community might feel they were born into the wrong body and if they feel that way that's good enough to say they have been, the reality is a born male does have male parts and male genetics, wrong body or not. Pretending they don't is as perverse as insisting they should continue to live in the wrong body. So, to allow what was a man to compete against women in sports competitions seems unbalanced at best.

Gavin Newsom is 1 potential saviour who is hardly a perfect one. JB Pritzker is another one, also hardly perfect. If you are prepared to let a maga-nut take the lead because of your desire for purity and over a sports competition matter, then ask the pro-Palestinian folks how victorious they are for sending a statement to the Democrats by withholding their votes because they didn't like Joe Biden's and Kamala Harris' continued support of Israel. Join up with them in insisting on a candidate who satisfies every single one of your whims and see how much better off your interests are being supported.

The original premise to which I was responding stated Gavin Newsom is throwing the trans community under the bus. Since my response was too long for you, so you didn't read it, in summary I said someone born male even if in the wrong body does still have male parts and so there is merit to in Newsom's stated beliefs that keeping birth males from competing with birth females in sporting events. In that light he isn't throwing the trans community under the bus.

Newsome is extremely problematic from anti-trans stances to literally destroying homeless emcampments, throwing away everything the homeless own in a way to erradicate them.

These are not the acts of a person who deserves to be president. This is just fascism light and I hate that people are excited for the prospect of him becoming president.

If everyone likes his social media works recently, how about nominating the girl behind his accounts who are posting the great things against fascism instead? She has more honor, valor and courage than he does.
