Weakling Posters the blockers...

Its one thing to have a conversation about your own country with people that actually live here and participate in the system. But its another thing when people from other countries act like they matter or have some say in what goes on in our country. Then only have negative or disparaging things to say....not to debate or to come to some understanding but to be that "disease of modern social media" that will never solve anything or get anyone anywhere! (And thats their objective)

this is true. Very few of those people actually try to learn anything other than the so-called news that enforces their belief rather than learning both sides
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@Jlhzfromep Where are people suppose to learn things if not the news? Tik tok? neighbours, divination? The truth is that most of the world is more informed about things including US politics than some Americans.

@vickibear Again as I have said in response to your angry DMs to me, you have no real rational response but retailiate by ad homen attacks. Not good enough.

The internet is a pesky sort of invention. It allows people with different views and from different parts of the world to speak to each other and have conversations. Of course abuse and ignorant comments are annoying, but they can be ignored.

I have learned from your comments that you assume that this site is in some way only open to one nation's citizens. 'They' covers everyone else.

people from other countries act like they matter

That's a sad attitude. I want to hear different views and engage with those who ideas I find difficult to accept. I want them to explain and perhaps listen (as you say you want) so we can have a dialogue. It's a shame you impute to all of 'them' the desire to not debate but cause trouble.

I am an American conservative, and yet I like FreddieUK's comment best.

He reminds us all that when ignorant and abrasive people from other countries want to comment on American politics and policies in a negative way, we should just ignore them.

I particularly FEEL the lesson we should ALL learn from the death of Charlie Kirk, who wanted us to engage in CIVIL discourse...in other words...POLITE debate with those who disagree with our own viewpoint.

ALL people matter. The United States above ALL other countries affects the entire world. SOME countries look to us as their only hope, while other countries drown in their globalist socialist muck.

@vickibear You stopped it.
Your government gets involved in politics all over the world all the time and seems to think it knows best for us, but we're not allowed to have an opinion on that? It's funny how freedom and mattering only works one way over there.
vickibear · 46-50, F
@JimboSaturn I already win...because guess what....none of your words elect any individuals here!
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@vickibear I never thought my words would elect anyone in office lol, Who said that? lol
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@vickibear What a snowflake. Typical MAGA can't take any criticism. Always trying to suppress free speech and bully.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
It's even another thing when someone who lives in "that" country is totally uninformed about how "their" government works and seems only interested in expressing their own feelings as expressed by their immediate neighbours and manipulated by those they favour to follow. If you don't know what you are talking about and spreading lies, it doesn't matter where you live. The dirty little secret is news is worldwide, and you don't need to live in any one specific place to access it. That's a choice though that many don't take.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
American policies are affecting other countries. We like in a global village. The actions of the US affects everyone.
vickibear · 46-50, F
@JimboSaturn So Jimbo....even though your opinion doesnt matter. Let's hear what youre going to complain about when Trumps term is over? I bet you dont stop youre complaining it will just shift!
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@vickibear That is allowed for fuck's sake, it's called freedom. Ok, if I said something nice about the US, would that be allowed? It's more like we only have the freedom to agree with you.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@vickibear If it doesn't matter, why are you so triggered? Of course my opinion doesn't matter in world politics, it can't change anything. It's not a question of my opinion having weight. Actually I'm older than you so I've seen many US presidents and I didn't complain about them. I complain because this one is bent on destroying the good relations between US allies and improving relationships with enemies of the US
MarineBob · 56-60, M
Totally agree
JackDaniels · 46-50, M
Could not agree more. They have no idea.
RedBaron · M
We elected Trump. That reflects poorly on the US and affects the whole world.

@Platinum not to mention studies are saying almost 90% of postings on social media are bots to stir up decent! I mean what does that say about these outlets?
