It's justified by recognizing its rhetoric, and remembering that the last administration had NO PROBLEMS going after their ideological enemies whether it was on social media, in the court room, or by espousing their own ruinous rhetoric calling everyone Nazis and Fascists.

You make an outsize fuss over Trump but ignore worse behavior when it suits your political ideology.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@SumKindaMunster I listen to everyone. Maybe it will make one think. Mostly the ones that idolize what’s happening. No politician or political influencer deserves that. They are not Mother Theresa!
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Handfull1 Ok, thanks for your time. Sorry to bother you.

@Avectoijesuismoi technically there are several viruses responsible for the "common cold," among them are corona viruses. Unfortunately staying that COVID is/was just like the common cold and detracts from its seriousness. We will never know of an administration taking it seriously might have saved hundreds of thousands of lives. We do know that under playing it did not help control it. We also can be pretty sure that without the vaccine many more would have died.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@Avectoijesuismoi like Trump?? Or Biden for that matter. Both have been caught sleeping.
Avectoijesuismoi · 36-40
@Handfull1 What I am saying is the "management structure" at the top is "top heavy" and not only is it that it is also incompetent and ineffective. It is not unique to the US as a problem either. But it is very large structure in the US. Just at federal level.
Take any large successful corporate company and see how many have two or more boards of directors?
TheYawnArchive · 46-50, M
His base is made up mostly of the evangelicals, many family members of mine are supporting him. Not all believers fall for it though, a couple books i found before his 2nd term started piqued my interest, author's name is Tim Alberta, good to know that some Christians can see what's plainly evident.
TheYawnArchive · 46-50, M
@Handfull1 It's the wisps of books that somehow linger .... ty:)
TheYawnArchive · 46-50, M
@Handfull1 No, i tend to be too blunt and flee what i sense to be a waste of time, my shortcoming here is already knowing or judging what the response would be if i engaged with them.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@TheYawnArchive I couldn’t help but chuckle. My shortcoming also, but I’m much older so have had more time to practice!
GerOttman · 70-79, M
I don't personally justify anyone's hate but my mind hasn't been changed. There were two poor choices just like the last two times. One of them won and we were going to lose anyway.

Until and unless the average voters get fed up enough to go 3rd party, get used to it. You wouldn't see a Libertarian pres. acting this way I bet! But we'll never know, will we?

@Handfull1 @SomeMichGuy

Knowledge is grounded in truth, not conspiracy theories or hunches. While I agree that our schools need to stop being so politicized and get to teaching the basics of reading writing and arithmetic.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@SomeMichGuy unfortunately, truth means very little these days.
@Handfull1 Yes.

And lack of a STEM background helps ppl to think

opinion ≈ science

or even

opinion "trumps" science
fanuc2013 · 51-55, F
I think when he receives hate speech, insults, etc. He responds in kind.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@fanuc2013 deflection for sure. He’s the President. He also appeals to evangelicals. I’m not sure it’s written anywhere in the Bible that responding in kind is an excuse for hate speech.

@SumKindaMunster you’ve lost it!
How does the left have any room to criticize anyone for hating an opponent? What you see is your own hate of him being reflected back on you. Its consumed you for 9 years and you don"t get why he might hate you back? Really??

@BrandNewMan you do realize I almost never post anything??
@Handfull1 You do realize of the 22 posts you've made 2/3 deal with some level of political slant against Trump/conservatives?

I'd say you have a pretty strong tendency to do exactly what I said you are doing.
jeancolby · 31-35, F
Who cares, every single person on earth has had hateful thoughts about someone at some point in their lives. He is no different.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@jeancolby so in other words, you don’t care! Got it! ☮

He's not a Christian, and that's all we have to know.
Even Adolf Hitler, when it was near the end, admitted that he was always a Christian.
calicuz · 56-60, M
@Handfull1

I agree, but it's obvious we don't need holy books to teach us that anymore.
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@calicuz one would think but obviously some didn’t get the memo!
calicuz · 56-60, M
@Handfull1

You're right, so it's clear they are not reading it.
Reject · 31-35, M
It changed the rest of world’s minds as everyone lost faith in America as an ally.

Considering that his "faithful" followers are full of hate for everything that is not them, why would this be a surprise?
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@Northwest not really a surprise. I was curious as to what some thought. Crickets from his base.
@Northwest That's how they became his faithful...

@Torsten not liking is not the same as hate. Hating one’s actions is also not the same as hating a person. Anyone that follows the Bible should know this. He specifically said he hates his opponents.
Torsten · 36-40, M
@Handfull1 and he has every reason to hate them
Handfull1 · 61-69, F
@Torsten that’s fine as long as he doesn’t portray himself as a man of faith. Nor should his followers.
Platinum · M
His opponents show hate for Trump, thats how politics work...
