Hate vs. Forgiveness

How does one justify Trump’s verbal hate for his opponents while still considering him a man of faith, family, and country? Has this changed anyone’s mind?

He's not a Christian, and that's all we have to know.
Even Adolf Hitler, when it was near the end, admitted that he was always a Christian.
