How does one justify Trump’s verbal hate for his opponents while still considering him a man of faith, family, and country? Has this changed anyone’s mind?
@Avectoijesuismoi technically there are several viruses responsible for the "common cold," among them are corona viruses. Unfortunately staying that COVID is/was just like the common cold and detracts from its seriousness. We will never know of an administration taking it seriously might have saved hundreds of thousands of lives. We do know that under playing it did not help control it. We also can be pretty sure that without the vaccine many more would have died.
@Handfull1 What I am saying is the "management structure" at the top is "top heavy" and not only is it that it is also incompetent and ineffective. It is not unique to the US as a problem either. But it is very large structure in the US. Just at federal level. Take any large successful corporate company and see how many have two or more boards of directors?
His base is made up mostly of the evangelicals, many family members of mine are supporting him. Not all believers fall for it though, a couple books i found before his 2nd term started piqued my interest, author's name is Tim Alberta, good to know that some Christians can see what's plainly evident.
@Handfull1 No, i tend to be too blunt and flee what i sense to be a waste of time, my shortcoming here is already knowing or judging what the response would be if i engaged with them.
I don't personally justify anyone's hate but my mind hasn't been changed. There were two poor choices just like the last two times. One of them won and we were going to lose anyway.
Until and unless the average voters get fed up enough to go 3rd party, get used to it. You wouldn't see a Libertarian pres. acting this way I bet! But we'll never know, will we?
Knowledge is grounded in truth, not conspiracy theories or hunches. While I agree that our schools need to stop being so politicized and get to teaching the basics of reading writing and arithmetic.
It's justified by recognizing its rhetoric, and remembering that the last administration had NO PROBLEMS going after their ideological enemies whether it was on social media, in the court room, or by espousing their own ruinous rhetoric calling everyone Nazis and Fascists.
You make an outsize fuss over Trump but ignore worse behavior when it suits your political ideology.
@SumKindaMunster I listen to everyone. Maybe it will make one think. Mostly the ones that idolize what’s happening. No politician or political influencer deserves that. They are not Mother Theresa!
@fanuc2013 deflection for sure. He’s the President. He also appeals to evangelicals. I’m not sure it’s written anywhere in the Bible that responding in kind is an excuse for hate speech.
How does the left have any room to criticize anyone for hating an opponent? What you see is your own hate of him being reflected back on you. Its consumed you for 9 years and you don"t get why he might hate you back? Really??
@Torsten not liking is not the same as hate. Hating one’s actions is also not the same as hating a person. Anyone that follows the Bible should know this. He specifically said he hates his opponents.
