Hate vs. Forgiveness

How does one justify Trump’s verbal hate for his opponents while still considering him a man of faith, family, and country? Has this changed anyone’s mind?

I think when he receives hate speech, insults, etc. He responds in kind.

@fanuc2013 deflection for sure. He’s the President. He also appeals to evangelicals. I’m not sure it’s written anywhere in the Bible that responding in kind is an excuse for hate speech.
