I think the reason some people fall for this is because they see how rich people aren't happy being multibillionaires, they just want more and more. So they think that if we have free healthcare, working-class people are going to choose to have all the surgeries.

Without socialism you spend a lot more for everything. Socialism is where you do the basic work for society in the most efficient way, even the things that don't generate huge profit.
