Melania Trump Threatens $1 Billion Defamation Lawsuit Against Hunter Biden Over Epstein Comments

First Lady Melania Trump is threatening to sue Hunter Biden for more than $1 billion over false claims he made linking her to Jeffrey Epstein. The former first son—fresh off his presidential pardon—decided to repeat gossip from a discredited author during a YouTube interview. That video? It’s been viewed by millions.

According to legal documents, Melania Trump’s attorneys sent Hunter a cease-and-desist letter. They want him to take back his “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements.” The interview on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan has gotten over 3.6 million views. That’s millions of people hearing Hunter’s baseless claims.

This correspondence serves as a demand … that you immediately retract the false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements made about Mrs. Trump. [The interview] has since been re-published by various media outlets, journalists, and political commentators with millions of social media followers that have disseminated the false and defamatory statements therein to tens of millions of people worldwide. Consequently, you have caused Mrs. Trump to suffer overwhelming financial and reputational harm.

The letter came from Alejandro Brito, Trump’s lawyer. He points out that Biden was quoting Michael Wolff—a guy the legal documents call a “serial fabulist.” (That’s fancy talk for “liar,” by the way.) Here’s the kicker: The Daily Beast already apologized to Mrs. Trump for printing similar garbage. They deleted their whole article. But Hunter? He just kept talking.

Can you believe this guy? Rather than show an ounce of class, Hunter Biden responded with typical trash talk. When asked if he would apologize to the First Lady, his response was a profane “F— that. That’s not going to happen.”

This is who the Bidens really are, people.

@sunsporter1649 mentions pardons for sale.

Paul Walczak: Walczak, a former nursing home executive, received a pardon from President Trump in April 2025. He had been sentenced to 18 months in prison and was ordered to pay restitution for failing to pay over $10 million in taxes. Walczak's pardon application reportedly cited his mother's political loyalty to Trump, including significant fundraising efforts ...

Todd and Julie Chrisley:
These reality TV personalities were pardoned by Trump after their daughter spoke at the Republican National Convention, arguing that her parents were victims of political persecution. The Chrisleys were facing over $22 million in restitution payments from their tax fraud and tax evasion scheme when pardoned ...

Scott Jenkins: Jenkins was found guilty in late 2024 of accepting over $75,000 in bribes in exchange for appointing individuals as auxiliary deputy sheriffs, according to Fox News. These individuals were not vetted or trained and, in some cases, sought these positions to circumvent legal requirements such as firearms

Andrew and Tristan Tate: were recently freed from a travel ban in Romania and traveled to the US in February 2025. The Tates, who are facing charges in Romania of human trafficking, rape, and establishing an organized crime group, deny these allegations. News sources indicate that several high-level officials within the Trump administration expressed interest in their case, and a Trump envoy reportedly discussed the Tates' situation with the Romanian foreign minister at a security conference prior ...

@sunsporter1649 At least 14,000 were arrested due to the BLM protests.

And none were pardoned; unlike THESE violent Jan 6 insurrectionists!

At publishing time, it was disclosed that Hunter Biden has consulted with Joe Biden's autopen handlers, asking, "Is it true that my pardon covers this potential lawsuit?" When advised that it does not, Hunter reportedly said, "Oh, f—k, I thought it did," according to sources close to the Biden family.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Thinkerbell should have included a drug reference
@Thinkerbell Hunter merely quoted a published source, Michael Wolff, referencing it as he did so. 100% protected speech. Not only will Melanoma lose her suit, she'll have to pay Hunter's legal fees🤣😂

And her lawyers know this; that's why she'll chicken out

UPDATE

sunstroke is saying these photos of Epstein with Melania are merely coincidental🤣😂

P.S. I eagerly await the discovery phase of any such trial where Melanoma must testify under oath about her flights on Epstein's famous plane!!

They need to get that guy away from teleprompters . He is doing a good job of keeping the discourse on him and not his dad and Jill though
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Vin53 people on both sides want answers as to his cognitive decline and how Jill facilitated it . That’s fair game for a former president I think . Hunter is keeping the news cycle on himself to deflect . That was my whole point
Vin53 · M
@AthrillatheHunt Its a moot point. Biden has been away from politics for months now and anything he's done in the past can be associated with him simply being an old man.
trump is showing similar signs and he's currently the president.

He's a festering boil on our country and a constant source of national humiliation and disgrace.
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@Vin53 many people don’t consider it a moot point . I respect your opinion though
KingofBones1 · 46-50, M
I am suing them all for 1 trillion in inconvenience fees another $25 billion for defaming my character saying that people like me are lazy and another 32 trillion for aggravation
Vin53 · M
Its a frivolous lawsuit if they pursue it. Hunter simply quoted somebody else.
Vin53 · M
@sunsporter1649 If he says he's quoting someone its not defamation.

How'd you like your cult leader cheating on international tv the other day? He cheats so much that he doesn't even try to hide it from the world.

You're both enormous tools.

The ridiculous sum mentioned shows that this is an attempt at intimidation through the courts rather than a plausible lawsuit.
