Melania Trump Threatens $1 Billion Defamation Lawsuit Against Hunter Biden Over Epstein Comments

First Lady Melania Trump is threatening to sue Hunter Biden for more than $1 billion over false claims he made linking her to Jeffrey Epstein. The former first son—fresh off his presidential pardon—decided to repeat gossip from a discredited author during a YouTube interview. That video? It’s been viewed by millions.

According to legal documents, Melania Trump’s attorneys sent Hunter a cease-and-desist letter. They want him to take back his “false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements.” The interview on Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan has gotten over 3.6 million views. That’s millions of people hearing Hunter’s baseless claims.

This correspondence serves as a demand … that you immediately retract the false, defamatory, disparaging, and inflammatory statements made about Mrs. Trump. [The interview] has since been re-published by various media outlets, journalists, and political commentators with millions of social media followers that have disseminated the false and defamatory statements therein to tens of millions of people worldwide. Consequently, you have caused Mrs. Trump to suffer overwhelming financial and reputational harm.

The letter came from Alejandro Brito, Trump’s lawyer. He points out that Biden was quoting Michael Wolff—a guy the legal documents call a “serial fabulist.” (That’s fancy talk for “liar,” by the way.) Here’s the kicker: The Daily Beast already apologized to Mrs. Trump for printing similar garbage. They deleted their whole article. But Hunter? He just kept talking.

Can you believe this guy? Rather than show an ounce of class, Hunter Biden responded with typical trash talk. When asked if he would apologize to the First Lady, his response was a profane “F— that. That’s not going to happen.”

This is who the Bidens really are, people.

These individuals were not vetted or trained and, in some cases, sought these positions to circumvent legal requirements such as firearms

Andrew and Tristan Tate: were recently freed from a travel ban in Romania and traveled to the US in February 2025. The Tates, who are facing charges in Romania of human trafficking, rape, and establishing an organized crime group, deny these allegations. @ElwoodBlues Since late May, nearly 1,000 people have been arrested in connection with the protests in Portland; however, the overwhelming majority will likely never be prosecuted by the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office. There are reasons for that decision, the district attorney explained, but others say it gives criminals a free pass.

District Attorney Mike Schmidt took over in August and promptly announced his office would presumptively decline to prosecute many protest-related charges. The decision has drawn harsh criticism, but Schmidt says it has been necessary to preserve resources for more serious crimes as well as protect speech rights.

Portland’s demonstrations raged for more than 100 consecutive nights before hazardous air quality conditions from the state’s wildfires in September interrupted the streak. Windows have been smashed, stores looted and fires started. There have been assaults. One man was murdered. Police have subjected crowd members, as well as bystanders and residents, to copious clouds of tear gas and other crowd control munitions.

KOIN 6 News has tracked arrests and citations by local authorities:
Local police agencies have made at least 978 protest-related arrests and citations so far. Around 28 arrests involved juveniles, for which public records are not available, and the outcome of 43 arrests could not be located.

Charges have effectively been dropped in just over 90% of the cases we know the outcome of.

Between May 25 and Oct. 7, the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Oregon filed federal charges against 97 people connected to the Portland unrest. Since then 58 of those cases have either been dismissed outright or are on track for dismissal through a deferred resolution agreement. Thirty-two cases are still pending, with many likely to also end in dismissal according to sources. Seven people have entered guilty pleas.

Of those pleading guilty, only one person is headed to prison, and he was caught red-handed. Security video shows Edward Schinzing setting fire to the Justice Center with his shirt off and his name tattooed on his back. A plea deal calls for Schinzing to serve the five-year mandatory minimum sentence for arson.

Equal justice under the law, eh?
@sunsporter1649 See, sunstroke, there's this little thing called "evidence" which becomes important in things like criminal trials. ESPECIALLY when the crimes are intended to halt the operation of our government!!

And the Jan 6 insurrectionists were stuupid enough to post photo and video evidence of their crimes to social media. Not every criminal advertises their crime so blatantly, but it sure does make the job of law enforcement simpler!!
