The phrase ‘purely a financial decision’ not related to ‘content or other matters happening at Paramount’ sounds a whole lot like an excuse a politician gives to save face right before making their inevitable exit. Similar to 'I'm leaving because I want to spend more time with my family' is a tell-tale sign their career is over. A good actor knows a great exit line when they see one, as this definitely is written on the Wall.
Actors are just people paid well to pretend to be someone else and really should not be glorified in the first place. In this case, CBS got torpedoed for good reason. It's leftist garbage, always was, and someone finally took out the trash. Hopefully this is the first domino to fall. We all know who the other dominoes are.

People all over the world are canceling their Paramount subscriptions. I just canceled mine and put the reason why, "You cancel Colbert, I cancel you!" Let's make Paramount stocks drop!! #CancelParamount

No loss. It's a crime how long he and the other hate-mongers in the media have been allowed to spew their lies and propaganda.

@AbbeyRhode That was their sole function: spreading propaganda and indoctrination.

Next up Jimmy "rest in peace, wheezy" Kimmel.

His over inflated ego will explode when fired 🤣 @SumKindaMunster

@SumKindaMunster AMF to that guy too. I have only seen clips of his show on YouTube... No big loss.

Who watches those shows anyway? I see clips online but never watched the actual shows. They are not very good and too political, people want to escape that not see it in” comedy”

My guess would be, he has a much better offer from a streaming provider and they don't want to match it. Also, once he goes off network the content restrictions loosen up....

He topped the ratings for quarter two 2025 and Kimmel was second and Fallon a distant third. Fallon is the most pleasant and least political and has more talent than the other two put together. Sensible people are asleep so they can work the next day and don’t watch any of them. Why shouldn’t all over the air and cable broadcasting stop at 11.30 PM? It’s not like the 4% of patriotic US citizen taxpayers that watch anything after that would care.

@jackjjackson Plus ,Jimmy Fallon seems to get the best guests and he clearly knows how to interact with them in a fun way.I hope he stays .The rest of them? Out the door ,in a perfect world.

He can sing, dance, tell jokes, hold a conversation, make it. To all about him. @DavidT8899
