What's to hate?
Existing business practices ...

@Reason10 Actually, you've got that wrong. Trace the development of TCP/IP, open source, and the NSFnet.

It was built on open sharing of code, ideas, protocols, etc. Open source competed with private industry networks such as SNA and Minitel, and won. The means we now use to communicate is built on anti-business practices that science deniers like you are completely unaware of.

Maybe we need to raise money for time changes.

The passing of time hurts some people more than others. So if you suffer from the passing of time we need government grants to offset it. Time change should be funded by anyone making over $1000 a year. Or you can purchase time change credits to offset your time footprint.

@SunshineGirl yes but just on the ones trying to tax us to death

@MasterLee liberals should be charged tax for breathing

Title 26 is complicated enough without added that to the size of the return.

Exactly. I've voiced this many times over the years, myself, just worded a little differently. Not once, have I seen or heard a reasonable rebuttal.
@Reason10 says
97 percent of all greenhouse gasses is WATER VAPOR,
That's true, AND it doesn't prevent CO2 from having a significant effect on atmospheric temperatures, and of course everyone knows that the warmer the air, the more moisture it can hold!!!

CO2 & methane are transparent to visible light but more opaque to infrared. The solar energy comes pouring in via the visible spectrum, but the heat can't leave so easily via the infrared spectrum due to that opacity. Kids' version:
https://www.sciencenewsforstudents.org/article/explainer-co2-and-other-greenhouse-gases
idealized quantitative model: https://www.climate-policy-watcher.org/coriolis-force/a-simple-mathematical-model-of-the-greenhouse-effect.html

With multiple data points we can solve for multiple variables simultaneously. Detailed climate models account for all dozens of variables. They are verified and calibrated based on 800,000 years of prior climate data.
http://web.mit.edu/globalchange/www/climate.html

800,000 years, covering about 7 ice ages. The climate data comes from bubbles in glacial ice, and is corroborated by data from lake & sea floor sediments.
https://icecores.org/about-ice-cores
CO2 & methane & temp data

Here's where the various data sets were collected:

The most salient thing about the 800,000 years of climate data is the rate of change during those previous 7 ice ages compared to the current rate of change this century.

Q: Where does the money for climate research come from?
Fair question - it comes mostly from the National Science Foundation. Equally fair: where does the money for climate denial come from? The US oil industry makes about $110 billion per year; coal another $20 billion. Big Oil spends $3.6 billion per year on advertising; a sum equal to about 8X the whole NSF climate budget. You're not naive enough to believe none of that money goes to propaganda, are you?

Tell me what’s changed since the political left highjacked the climate movement? The air, water, food and the pollution have gotten much worse. The energy prices are astronomical and going higher. The cost of food and everything else is rising.

Climate change is happening all the time and it’s primary negative effects are being caused by those geoengineering the sky. Until that stops and the cell phone radiation 5G6G EMF radiation ends, the earth and humans will continue to suffer.

Leftist political hacks have highjacked the green movement for political reasons and only the useful idiots and uninformed citizens continue to believe in their climate cult propaganda.

Nobody has done more damage to the middle class and their ability to survive than the climate cult. Buy a clue about reality before you post such nonsense. Either do this or enjoy the bugs you will soon be eating courtesy of your globalist climate cult overlords.

You know the rich aren't giving up their private jets,fleet of cars and mansions right?
@Reason10 DEAD WRONG!! AS USUAL!!!
Decades of financial filings tell a completely different story. You got played by your casino-bankrupting conman!!

By age 3, Mr. Trump was earning $200,000 a year in today’s dollars from his father’s empire. He was a millionaire by age 8. By the time he was 17, his father had given him part ownership of a 52-unit apartment building. Soon after Mr. Trump graduated from college, he was receiving the equivalent of $1 million a year from his father. The money increased with the years, to more than $5 million annually in his 40s and 50s.

Oh, and that tiny little starter loan??
the total loan by Fred Trump to his son, Donald, was actually $60.7 million or – and brace yourself here – $140 million in today’s money.

@ElwoodBlues ALL LIES.

I have the facts, and

@Reason10 LOL!!! Your only source is tRump himself; one of the worlds biggest liars🤣😂

Here are the facts; found in DECADES of financial filings.

You should be up in arms about the plans to dim the sun and the ongoing cloud seeding then?
We should totally destroy our economies and drive inflation to Venezuela levels to totally fix the climate… as India and china build hundreds and hundred of coal stations… laughing their ass off as we buy their wind turbines and solar panels.. that have to all be replaced every 20 years or so…

A person who is in this country illegally is a criminal. That's in the US Code.
An ILLEGAL ALIEN is a criminal even if he commits no other crime.

It's all about the cruelty and the fear, and the photo op to show the Trump cult how tough they are on immigration.

I guess you believe Barak Obama was cruel, too.

The New York Times says that since the beginning of President Barack Obama’s tenure, in 2008, two-thirds of the nearly 2 million people who have been deported had no criminal record or had committed minor offenses, such as traffic violations.

@Reason10 And this has everything to do with my OP how...? P.S. Careful, you've been warned.

Humans are NOT changing the climate or heating the earth. Those are the facts

Prove it.
@Reason10 says
I trust the science.

Fact is, anthropogenic global warming and climate change are accepted by a YUGE segment of the scientific community. Would you accept the consensus opinion of the American Physical Society AND the American Chemical Society? How about the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and at least 15 other national organizations of publishing scientists?

I trust the science

So why, then, do you refuse to believe the 99% of scientists who say that man made global warming is real?

You trust the science, in your own words.
