The greatest threat to America is not Trump, it's American apathy.
It was not the MAGA-Republicans who put Trump in Office, it was the Democrats who never even bothered to vote for anyone AT ALL who put Trump back into the Oval Office.
You have to remember that statistically, only 49% of all eligible Americans voted in that last Presidential Election.
51% of that 49% voted for Trump, which means only 49% of the remaining half either voted for Harris or didn't vote at all.
This means that it only took 26% of the entire American population to vote Trump into the Oval Office in 2024.
That is not only hilarious for the rest of the world to watch from a distance, but it shows nothing but abject contempt for America's Democratic Republic by Americans who hold legal citizenship in your country.
The reason the USA is turning into a Dictatorship by definition is because a Dictatorship is what Americans want and that's what they got.

@GerOttman The US political system though well intentioned, has simultaneously become too far right and too far left, with the far right appearing out of their minds while the far left appearing like they've lost their minds. Neither end of each extreme end of the spectrum is good for America, regardless of what one believes in.
The USA cannot function with the rest of the world because the rest of the world is more center-right and center-left, but is nothing at all like the USA is today nor has been during the Biden Administration.
That is why a third party as you suggest, gives Americans an option for seeking middle ground or almost neutrality, somewhat like the political system for governance that we have in Canada with it's 3-party governing system for this very reason.
