Luigi Mangione

Our only true revolutionary of the last, well, who knows how long. He didn’t sit back and let the system destroy the lives of the innocent. He did what most of us are too scared to do. He fought back. Luigi showed us that we don’t have to accept this. We don’t have to live in a world where healthcare is a commodity. He's what all men should aspire to be like. I think it's crazy that more hasn't erupted from this yet.

@Rolexeo Exactly. It’s actually insane how people bend over backward to defend a man who profited off of death.
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@Eglectic They don't care unless it's something more direct, like public executions. Even though it might as well be.

Thanks for best comment btw
Eglectic · 36-40, FNew
@Rolexeo Exactly. The system’s violence is slow, spread out, hidden behind paperwork and polite language. But it still kills. And people like @carpediem only pretend to care when it happens in a way that forces them to acknowledge it. And of course! Best comment because it’s the truth.

I don't condone people who support cold blooded murders .. tho i have sympathy for him being abused by drs for $$$$$$ and think that barbaric operation needs to be banned already 😒 it's the Drs who should be in jail for ripping off the system at the expense of the people's health and suffering
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
Now I would have to disagree. I accept that aggression needs to be more used by women. Yet outright violence is chauvinist as well. It's almost expected from men.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Eglectic yes but different issues. Who won the majority of his main issues and who didn't win anything at all.
Eglectic · 36-40, FNew
@DeWayfarer Evolved issues. The same oppression, just wearing a different mask. They just found new ways to keep the same groups down.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@Eglectic that struggle will never end. Yet little bit by little bit it changes.

Two or three steps forward, to one step backwards, is one or two steps forward. Which is progressive.

Zero steps forward leading to even more steps backwards is recessive.

The latter is what happens with violence.

Execution without a trial if I think someone is guilty. Which amendment to the Constitution was that?
Eglectic · 36-40, FNew
@eli1601 It's genuinely HILARIOUS how you people think the CEO was this magical innocent person who followed every rule himself. In a system that routinely condemns people to death by neglect. The rich DON'T CARE ABOUT LEGALITIES. So why should we?

@Rolexeo Nice! Dodge the question and resort to reductio ad absurdum. Well done 👏👏👏
Rolexeo · 26-30, M
@BizSuitStacy I'm answering you, despite your dishonest framing of the question. All you care about is appearances, if the murder is done more or less covertly it's ok in your mind.

What's the use of killing just one CEO ? Another CEO will takeover and do the same thing after some time.

He could have resorted to Publishing the truth or expose the industry practices.

@carpediem And just so you know, I’ve been through enough hell to make your worst nightmares seem like a walk in the park. The kind of experiences that would have you waking up in cold sweats for years, unable to escape the weight of it.

@carpediem
I am far more powerful
Well, good for you! It would certainly explain why you just don't give a shit for those who are not so "powerful" (i.e. don't have as much money), and why you think the system as it currently stands is just fine.
Unbelievable.
carpediem · 61-69, M
@Pambie Another kid lost in support of violence. Is that what you learned in school? Maturity is something that is going to take some time to reach you kid. Start with rejecting murder.

@ron122 You're absolutely right. I’m so terrified of being called a Karen. How will I ever recover from such a devastating insult? Give me a break.
ron122 · 41-45, M
@Eglectic As you keep whining.🤣
pancakeslam · 41-45, M
unfortunately he's gonna get put away
Riemelt · 22-25, M
It got Elon spooked. He’s sleeping with a gun now…

Eglectic · 36-40, FNew
@Riemelt Oh I nearly love nothing more. These guys have played a rigged game for so long, now they’re facing the consequences. I hope they lose fucking everything.

@JackOatMon They'll have a hard time empanelling a jury. Most everyone has been screwed over by an insurance company (or a bank).
Luigi is a national hero. His defense fund is what? A half million dollars donated by the public.
