The hoops they jump thru

I have many MAGA on my social media feed - Family and friends from long ago. I’m astonished at the hoops they are jumping through the past few weeks to justify the actions the Trump administration is taken. It’s like they know it is bad, but post some excuse hoping for validation and reassurance from their fellow MAGA. A lot of whataboutism and “trust trump he knows what he is doing” rationale. Almost like they are checking in to see who is still supporting Trump. Anyone else experiencing this?

I think we all experience this. I noted that just prior to the 2020 election, many abandoned tRUMP. I saw something similar in November but to a lesser extent.

I also have friends who tell me that they voted for tRUMP three times and each time they changed their minds at the last moment.

I blocked all of them that post MAGA propaganda. I have some conservative friends that don’t post maga, I left them in my list but I don’t follow them. However I recently ran into a couple of them out in town and they look at me weird(blocked ones). I pretend they’re not there, look right through them then walk away.

That j jackson fellow blocked me a few weeks ago when I held his feet to the fire regarding tRump's appeasement of Putin. I think he couldn't face the contradictions between his view of tRump and the reality of tRump.

I have observed a whole lot of hoop jumping on both sides. Some very passionate discussions over which pile of penguin poop is better and why. At the end of day, both are pretty slimey and smell aweful. I guess it's largely a matter of taste. I've never developed a palate for it myself.

Nope. But I wonder if he has PTSD from all the attempts to put him in jail or kick him out of office. Can you imagine what he must sound like with the doors and windows shut
