The hoops they jump thru

I have many MAGA on my social media feed - Family and friends from long ago. I’m astonished at the hoops they are jumping through the past few weeks to justify the actions the Trump administration is taken. It’s like they know it is bad, but post some excuse hoping for validation and reassurance from their fellow MAGA. A lot of whataboutism and “trust trump he knows what he is doing” rationale. Almost like they are checking in to see who is still supporting Trump. Anyone else experiencing this?

That's always been the norm for them, that's why people say it's a cult. There's even Trump preachers and a whole religion about him. As well as his supporters on the dark web with some peculiar beliefs.
