I don't really know him or his views but I like how he's speaking out. Honestly I will always dislike the right but a good way to earn my respect is to hold the ground against fascism.
@MarkPaul He was right about cults though. If you look up the definition of a cult, Trump and his followers tick every category and now they have over taken the Republican party so it's just the party of Trump and no longer any other views. That's crazy to me but Joe's absolutely right.
You know how I'm always saying that I wish there were more old school Republicans who didn't immediately resort to calling me a POS for having different views from them? This guy. He's one of those.
@BohemianBabe he has an article talking about how divisive he used to be so I give him credit for having self awareness. The one thing that's hard for me is trusting what any right winger says because of PTSD from them being so racist and the meanest group of people I've ever come across. But I'm willing to put my personal feelings aside because people deserve to grow too.
Self awareness is a value human trait regardless of political ideology. What's so dangerous about Trump and his followers aren't because they are conservative but that lack of awareness gets people killed.
@SatanBurger That's understandable. Conservatives who aren't fascist, people like Schwarzenegger and Romney, they're a very small minority. The vast majority of the Right is supporting groups like MAGA and the AFD in Germany. So I get being super suspicious over anyone on the Right.
@Allelse I happened upon an article about Trump talking about how he wants to take in white south africans only in a race based immigration policy. It basically is the beginning of Nazi style Germany. I know what they're trying to do
