Doj policy not to prosecute a sitting president. Preventing trump's prosecution is BS.

Trump is not currently a sitting president. For 2 weeks he can still be brought to trial and should be.
Current precedent to 'not indite a "sitting president" Is absolute bs. Mfer broke the law. Incited an insurrection specifically and loudly called for a government official to be killed and as such should be brought to justice.
Instead post retirement age overly corrupt "justices" paralyzed by unwritten policy that isnt applicable.
Sounds like senility to me!
What do you think? They put Clinton under oath.

Just back up a little here and look at the bigger picture. First, having Trump in office and prosecuted just gives him an excuse not to do the job. I mean he already had his golfing duties. and his eating duties and his tweeting duties.. Second, and really more important, America just elected trump President, knowing exactly who he is and what he will do. (based on his record) So from the perspective of the rest of the planet, you all deserve exactly whats coming to you. Sorry. But there it is..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman im already prepared for the economic collapse. Produce my own food well water solar panels living with family no car. Im ready to survive. Most ppl arent.

@whowasthatmaskedman trump is going to be a trainwreck.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@jehova I agree. But of course it wont wreck him. 😷

Democrats are terrified that Trump will use the DOJ like they used it. 10's of thousands of
people could be convicted of the non-serious crimes that Democrats leveled against Trump.

Everyone, including Democrats, know that there would have been Zero indictments against
him, if he had not run again in 2024.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@jehova What would have happened if the looters in 2020 had been shot and killed? Democrats would have hung
the business owners, because THEY allowed the looting and arson. But I know, lefties think that is completely different. 🙄
DogMan · 61-69, M
@jehova Yes I know Mr. Witness, There have been on going indictments against Trump since 2016. They have tried to
tie him up ever since. And as soon as he stopped helping them find a crime against him, he was indicted for obstruction.
jehova · 31-35, M
@DogMan ok and presidential immunity shouldnt apply. It didnt for clinton or Nixon. or Reagan? Im no witness what i see isnt in the text.

Never give up. It's fun to watch. 😄
jehova · 31-35, M
@eli1601 do you find the antics amusing? It makes good television.
DogMan · 61-69, M
@jehova A POTUS lying under oath, is not trivial.
jehova · 31-35, M
@DogMan correct but so far lying under oath only has consequences for democrats.
The Dems had to offer absolutely nothing to get him elected again. Let's get a third party or admit we like these results because people die in shirthole countries cuz we're weapons makers
They're not going to be able to conclude the trial in 2 weeks, though - it'll likely take that just to get jury letters out.
jehova · 31-35, M
@HootyTheNightOwl unlimited stalling is why; they could have moved this along. Instead delay delay delay now its too late. Bunch of nonsense.

just goes to show that if you're rich enough and powerful enough you are, indeed, above the law
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@Frostcloud Actually, being rich is the only way to fight the unlimited resources of the government. The little guy has no chance which is why a lot of innocent people plead guilty when going up against the government machine

@CountScrofula using the but everyone else does it argument is bs. Which other president has ever instigated (encouraged) insurrection?
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@jehova Yeah that's what I said.

Trump did several things which were so flagrantly, obviously criminal that they have to prosecute him. That plays into his hands.
