Do you not know the results of the 1993 election?

Answer: "To meet the other Tory."
CedricH · M
@beckyromero Yes, so? The Liberals won the election but the Reform Party made the PC structurally uncompetitive henceforth.

We will see what happens in the mid-terms in 2026. But if the GOP takes a beating and loses the White House in 2028, the same thing could happen here if the never Trumpers get their act together and form a new conservative party based on the principles of pre-Trump Republicans.
CedricH · M
@beckyromero I was hoping for that split to materialize for over 8 years now - in vain. But maybe. Hopefully.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
What do you think of The Tekkit Realm and would you do him?
JohnOlinger81 · 41-45, M
@MrBrownstone awesome & hell yes
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
Only if I was born John Olinger would I. LOL
I don't. I have a life to live and a job to go to.

🥰
CedricH · M
@beckyromero Stephen Harper was quite a competent PM but in any case, the Canadian Republicans are, if anything, more like the pre-2016 Republicans. So to my liking.

How about the Kim Campbell years?

"Why did the Tory cross the road?"
CedricH · M
@beckyromero I don’t understand the question, are you asking about why the merger of the two center-right parties occurred after the Campbell years?
