What parts of Canada is Conservative

That is a hard question to answer because it is not that simple. For example rural vs urban populations in the same province can have wildly different political norms.

For example Point Douglas in Winnipeg, Manitoba where I lived for 15 years elected the first Marxist to parliament in all of North America.

But the rural areas will find you interacting with Hutterite and Mennonites who are very socially conservative.

I'm from that heartland so I'll say it's not as conservative as people think it is.

Buuut

The prairie provinces and especially southern Alberta are the conservative heartland. But there's pockets all over Canada.
@CountScrofula The prairies are an interesting situation. The cities like Winnipeg you can find the far left thriving but the rural areas are conservative.

So it is more city vs rural in Manitoba as opposed to some sort of homogeneous attitude across the province.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Same in Alberta. Calgary swings provincially but is conservative federally, Edmonton is centre left, and the rural areas are mostly conservative.

I live in small town Alberta and there's a lot more conservative voting than there is conservative ideology though. It's why I don't like painting this area as conservative.

I think you have the wrong question.

Look at Canadian population and compare it to USA population.

I happen to know it's over 340 million in the USA, off the top of my head.

It's all relative. I don't think Alberta would be anywhere near as conservative as the average red state in the USA, for instance.

I think Alberta because they want to be left alone by the metropolitans
The population. Remember, the coalition of the willing.
