LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Patriot96 Better check your brain, your bigotry is running rampant again.

@Patriot96 Nope. Actually being a bigot is.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
Define woke
@Guitarman123 I remember the phrase "go woke, go broke" when these bigots boycotted variious businesses because of inclusive policies or commercials. It had the opposite effect. Those business saw income multiply .

@autumngirl27 Budweiser leaps to mind.

I think it's really revealing to see how conservatives define 'Woke' when they're under oath:

Well anything woke by the right is considered anyone who isn't straight and trad. I wish them the best of luck fighting a made up enemy
It's too late. It will take 2 generations for them to do that and make it believable.

You think??? 🤣
Identity politics isn't political, it's actually anti politics. We used to call it "tokenism", and I'm sticking with that. Nobody should be fooled by the old trick of including gender bending chauvanists or lady corporatists in the management. Nobody should have been fooled by Obama.
One problem is that Americans aren't educated enough or honest enough for politics, so they don't run their own government.

@JohnOlinger81 Meet round in circles. He’s lost. Just ignore him.
@justanothername have you met John olinger, and would you do him?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Hard to say and no hell no. @Roundandroundwego
KingofBones1 · 46-50, M
They should. Just like the right if they were smart would get rid of the holy roller fire in brimstone identity as well. There are a large group of middle of the road people out there still who are unrepresented but the problem is is the extremes on both sides have now hijacked the parties and a moderate candidate cannot even get out of the gate so the likelihood that we will see a well-balanced individual now as president is almost zero to none

Nah. They hold onto it like religion. It turns more away from liberalism.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
Among other things.
Republican party should stop trying to legislate morality and shoving fundy religion down people's throats. They are very flawed entities.

Trolling or serious?
JohnOlinger81 · 41-45, M
@BohemianBabe serious
@JohnOlinger81 Harris didn't use identity politics during her campaign. She was asked about being black, she was asked about being the first woman president, she always answered by saying she was going to be the president for all Americans. Probably the one thing Harris did better than Hillary was that she didn't use identity politics.
Kenworth4954 · 56-60, M
They'll try but they'll be wearing it around their neck for a long while.

@MarmeeMarch hey friend good to see you
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Well, they should keep the sensible parts and forget the extremist bits. Civil rights, voting rights, equal rights and justice are all good and worthwhile. But some of the extreme bits of dogma get ridiculous.
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@ChipmunkErnie I didn't think you would have an answer.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@CorvusBlackthorne Couldn't be bothered. Plus I couldn't figure out if you were asking about the "extremist" bits or the things like civil rights, which i already mentioned.
CorvusBlackthorne · 100+, M
@ChipmunkErnie I was merely asking what specific aspects of leftist doctrine you considered extremist.
gol979 · 41-45, M
Both parties peddle this nonsense. Yet more division inspired taking points
